Welcome to the Global Science Excellence Olympiad (GSEO) website. By registering for the Olympiad or using any of the services provided through this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1️⃣ General Information

  • The Global Science Excellence Olympiad (GSEO) is an international academic competition for students in Grades 7–12, organized to promote excellence in science education worldwide.
  • These Terms apply to all users, including students, teachers, mentors, schools, and visitors who access or use our website and services.
  • GSEO reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our website or participation in the Olympiad constitutes acceptance of such changes.

2️⃣ Registration

  • Students must register either individually or through their school before the official registration deadline.
  • Each participant must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • GSEO reserves the right to reject any incomplete or falsified registration.
  • Schools registering multiple students must ensure that all details are accurate and verified by the school’s exam coordinator.

3️⃣ Examination Rules

  • The exam is conducted online under the supervision of a school-appointed exam administrator or teacher.
  • Participants must complete the exam within the allocated 90 minutes and must not use any unauthorized assistance, communication tools, or online resources.
  • Use of AI tools, group discussions, or any unfair means during the exam is strictly prohibited.
  • Any student found violating the examination rules will be immediately disqualified.
  • Disqualified students will not receive certificates, awards, or be considered for any prize nominations

4️⃣ Payment and Fees

  • The registration fee for each participant is USD 7 (or equivalent in local currency).
  • Payment can be made through PayPal or bank transfer as per the details provided during registration.
  • All fees are non-refundable, regardless of the reason for withdrawal, absence, or disqualification.
  • Schools registering groups of students may be eligible for bulk discounts, as stated on the registration page.

5️⃣ Results and Certificates

  • GSEO announces results within three weeks after the examination.
  • Certificates and awards are issued digitally through the official GSEO platform/email.
  • Participants are responsible for verifying the accuracy of their names and details before certificate issuance.
  • In case of technical delays or discrepancies, GSEO reserves the right to extend result announcements or reissue certificates.

6️⃣ Disqualification and Misconduct

  • Participants may be disqualified for:
    • Using unauthorized materials or devices during the exam.
    • Receiving external help or collaborating with others.
    • Attempting to manipulate or hack the exam platform.
    • Providing false information during registration.
  • GSEO reserves the right to invalidate results and revoke certificates or awards if any misconduct is discovered, even after results are published.

  • GSEO is not responsible for any technical issues, data loss, or service interruptions that may occur.
